We have experienced yet another short week in the Nordic energy market, with Monday of this week, our exchange closing day, having been Whit Monday. The market was affected by some very strong fluctuations in the continental electricity markets as well as the fuel and carbon markets, which fell sharply at the start of the week. This meant that the Nordic year contract for 2022 ended the week with a marginal overall fall of EUR 0.60/MWh. It now costs EUR 31.40/MWh. However, the Q3-21 contract has increased slightly and is now trading at a price of EUR 35.25/MWh.
