The volatility continued in the Nordic energy market last week, with very large daily fluctuations still occurring. There was a dominant uptrend last week, and several of the most frequently traded contracts climbed to their highest ever price levels, supported by major new climbs in the fuel markets, as well as record-high prices in the carbon market and the German energy market. The Q4-21 contract climbed to EUR 45.80/MWh, which is the highest level ever experienced for this contract, while the YR-22 contract climbed to EUR 32.00/MWh.
